About this dictionary
Ewe is spoken by millions of people across Ghana, Togo, and beyond, yet finding a reliable, freely accessible dictionary has never been easy. Nyagbalẽ was built to change that: a searchable, offline-friendly dictionary gathering vocabulary from language courses, community projects, and native speakers, organized into categories like family, food, nature, greetings, and traditional names, with proverbs included for anyone who wants to go deeper into Ewe culture, not just Ewe words. It's free, it works without an internet connection once installed, and it's meant to keep growing — anyone can suggest a word that's missing.
How to install this app
On your phone, open this site in your browser, then choose "Add to Home Screen" (iPhone: Share button → Add to Home Screen. Android: menu → Install app). It will work offline after that.
